Setting Learning Alight in Science Week
All week I have been part of the most amazing learning. Pupils (and staff) have loved every minute of science week, which has been packed full of fascinating fun. There are so many things I could comment on here, but I think it best to direct you towards our news and class learning pages, so you can see for yourself what an exciting science week we've had. It culminated this morning with a whole school sharing assembly attended by many parents, showcasing what has to be one of the best weeks in our calendar. A big thank you to everyone who helped the week go with a bang (Charlie it has to be said you lead the field on that score) but especially Miss Cannon for her tireless work in promoting science in our school.
After assembly, parents stayed on for the forum and shared some valuable input on how to improve reports and parents evenings. I will be feeding this back to staff and working on a new report form, which the parents at the forum said they would be happy to review for us. It is lovely to see a larger number of parents at these forums. Please keep attending as it is so useful for us to gauge opinions. The next parents forum will be on Friday 19th May, 9am.
