On Wednesday, Guy Marshall visited us for assembly and shared with us the work of the Thomas Marshall Education Fund. It was inspiring to see the impact of work carried out by such a dedicated and generous team of people, from our community and in Mozambique. The work they do ensures that children in Mozambique have something we, in this country, take for granted - an education.
Reflecting on the term so far, I have been so grateful for the support we receive. I was completely overwhelmed by the success of the Easter Egg Hunt. It was such a lovely event and raised a huge amount of money. The support from parents extends even further. I have had details of grants I could apply for from local businesses shared with me, every week there are willing volunteers sharing children's reading in our classrooms and we have had offers of support already, for helping with costumes, settings etc for the Class 3 production. Your continued support and involvement is so valued and appreciated and has an impact on the education of your children. Thank you.
If you would like to be more involved with activities or help out, you can always find details of up and coming events on this website under news, calendar or on the OSLOF page.
