End of Term Excitement
What a fabulous end to our Spring term. Everyone enjoyed their Mothers Day Lunch last Thursday. On Wednesday evening, I was privileged and proud to take our choir to the Farlingaye High Pyramid Concert, where they performed a collection of nine songs with the assistance of Farlingaye students and three other primary schools. They took central stage for a rendition of "Candy Man" form Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and performed perfectly. Congratulations to all the choir who have worked so hard to learn such a lot, in a very short space of time. You really were super ambassadors for our school.
Today we announced the winners of our Easter in a Matchbox competition. They were Archie L.,Milo, Ollie, Mimsie and Rebecca. The designs were beautiful and the children had obviously taken a lot of thought and care in making them.
Sadly, today we have had to say goodbye to Mrs McElroy, who has been covering Class 2 whilst Miss Brown has been recovering from her broken leg. She has shown such dedication and worked so hard to ensure that the children have continued to progress in all ways. We couldn't have wished for a better person to step into Miss Brown's shoes. We wish her every success at Leiston Primary next term.
I look forward to seeing many of you at the Easter Service, 2pm this afternoon, but in case you can't make it, I'd just like to thank you for your continued support and hope that you have a sunny, Happy Easter.
