We hold a collective worship session every day; usually our teachers lead Orford's daily collective worship, but often on a Wednesday we are lucky enough to have a guest. They either follow our theme for the week or they bring along their own ideas. Their assemblies can take many forms, sometimes fun and filled with laughter, sometimes thought provoking, often highlighting a current issue, occasionally examining the past. Whatever the theme, they children love to see our guests and participate eagerly.
On Fridays we hold our Celebration Assembly to which families and friends are invited; two of our three classes will show some of the work they have been doing in class. Certificates are awarded to those children who have gained 'Reader of the Week', 'Mathematician of the Week', ' Star of the week' or 'Cook of the Week'
We are very grateful to everyone who gives up their time freely to enhance our worship.
